We’ve got a busy weekend coming up. The first team have a massive game against Athletic Club on Sunday, with kick-off at 4:15pm Spanish time. We’re hoping the stadium will be a yellow cauldron, with the official supporters’ group handing out yellow cards to make an impressive tifo! Make sure you watch the game if you can.

 

Last night, the first team were also in action. They played well, but lost 3-1 to Espanyol to go out of the Copa del Rey. While it is obviously disappointing to go out of a competition, now it’s time to focus on LaLiga, which hopefully will be crucial to rising up the table.

 

Villarreal U23s (Villarreal B) are also in action, against Hércules on Saturday (7pm CET). The Mini Submarine are top of the table, four points clear, and will hope to extend their lead.
