Villarreal Nebraska Academy Overview

• The Villarreal Nebraska Academy is an Official Partner Academy of Villarreal C.F. a professional LaLiga Academy from Spain. VNA offers the highest level of player development in Nebraska.  The training provided at VNA is approved by the Academy Director and Coaching Staff at Villarreal C.F.  Committed to a focus on individual player development, our players are well-rounded with a proven curriculum based on Villarreal C.F. international training methods from Argentina, Spain and Europe.
   
  1. Players will learn the game from a cerebral, cognitive and physical aspect.
  2. Players make decisions based on intelligence, facts and understanding of the game.
  3. VNA teaches players the ability to think and reason, to solve problems.
  4. Most others only teach the physical aspects of the game. VNA teaches the why, how, and the decision making, as well as the physical. 
  
  D.O.C. Jorge A. Sambataro, a professional coach, ATFA licensed, and former professional player, brings international experience and training to Nebraska. VNA is a true Academy Soccer School. The entire coaching staff is dedicated to the good of the academy and the teaching of the player, the coaching staff ensures that at VNA all players and teams are learning the game. Our expert coaching staff is professionally licensed by the USSF, National Soccer Coaches Association of America, or international equivalent. 
  
  Our players are taught and encouraged to be autonomous players, smart players and good people both on and off the field.
  Players are taught to value discipline, effort, commitment, teamwork, and setting goals. 
  
  Villarreal Nebraska Academy is the only Academy in Nebraska, backed by a professional organization. Villarreal C.F. had beginnings in 1923 and is known as a true player development model internationally. Villarreal C.F. began their USA International Academy program, right here in Nebraska, because of the experienced soccer training and education demonstrated by Jorge A. Sambataro. Villarreal C.F. asked Director Sambataro to start their United States academy.  VNA is the only club in the state or region who can to send players and teams to Villarreal C.F. for professional training, tournaments and professional tryouts. 
  
  All the pathways your player can find at VNA, is only limited by their own choosing. It is all here for them to strive for. These options are not for everyone. However, we are here for everyone, at every level, to have fun and to learn the game. The opportunities show our unrivaled pathways.

2023-2024 Team Formations:
U11-U13 June 5-9, Signing begins June 5th and teams are expected to be filled by June 9th. Late adds can be evaluated by appointment.
U14-U19 June 26-30, Signing begins June 26th and teams are expected to be filled by July 2nd. Late adds can be evaluated by appointment.

It is our player development focus and our true Academy beliefs that all players have the opportunity to learn the game correctly.  Therefore, it is our goal to have a team spot for all youth U6-U14. We believe in forming as many teams as needed for ALL youth interested in learning the game. We fully expect to have a team for players within one of our program level teams. Our goal is to have multiple teams for like-minded, like-skilled teams.

Player Soccer Year Commitment Timeframe: When you join you are committing to the membership annual commitment.

From Offer Acceptance Date in June, through July 31 the following year, team memberships are an annual commitment.

• Coaching: Academy Coaching and Unrivaled Coach/Player Ratios.
• Internationally licensed/professional coaching DOC oversight for all teams.
• Licensed and Experienced Head Coach
• Licensed Coaching Coordinator
• Additional Academy Coaches Involvement, coaching collaboration as available
• Business and Company Overhead costs,
• Field/Facility rental fees,
• Professional Administrative Staff,
• Training: For the year: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer: including goalkeeper training
• Villarreal C.F. Academy Membership fees,
• Villarreal Nebraska Academy Membership fees.
  

The included competition costs include: 

• Fall, Winter and Spring Team Assigned/Planned Competition Events for the Year

VNA costs do not include:

• Uniform costs (see below for details),
  
• Player and Family Personal travel costs,
• Competition Fees/Team Fees; Leagues, Winter Indoor Soccer and/or Futsal League(s), Tournament(s),
• Private training fees (optional),
  
• Program Ultra Training, as identified/invited (optional),
• Performance Training (optional),
• College Player Pathway Support (optional),
• Camp/clinic fees (optional).

Program and Competition costs can be paid in full at the time of program registration, or they can be divided into monthly payments as indicated at time of registration. These are not monthly fees, membership fees are for the year, the option for payments can be monthly.
